Incoterms

Incoterms are international agreements regarding the international transportation of goods.

The Incoterms 2000 are the delivery terms that regulate the international rights and obligations of buyer and supplier. The incoterms are drawn up and published by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Download a handy overview of the incoterms HERE.

In the contract between supplier and buyer is recorded:

  • The obligations of both parties;
  • Who takes care of the insurances, licenses, authorizations and other formalities;
  • Who takes care of the transportation to where;
  • The point where the costs and risks transfer from the supplier to the buyer.
